KANSAS SOLE is a painting created from one of my favorite family photos. One of my grandfather's friends must have had such fun posing for this shot. I love the "worms eye" view of this piece and the cocky smile on Joe's face. Our guys were hard working,.. so to catch one taking a break must have been a rarity, I'm sure!
